05. Lightfield Technologies
At this point, we have talked a bit about the displays currently used in VR and AR headsets.
And while they are really good at delivering pretty powerful experiences already, they still have a few problems that need to be solved such as getting a higher resolution per eye and larger field of view.
One upcoming technology that could help to address some problems with displays are Lightfields.
Conceptually, Lightfields are a mathematical model to represent the intensity and directional movement of light at any given position in a 3D scene.
